  • 1.  CMA Part 1

    Hi guys,

I just attempted my CMA part 1 exam today and this was my first attempt. I used Gleim and the questions were very different from what I learnt from Gleim. But I had been studying rigorously for months. I was able to understand most questions in the exam felt I did really well in the mcqs but I was shocked when after I clicked "Finish section" on the exam window, I was directly taken to a survey instead of the essay which mean I did not get at least 50% of the mcqs correct which was really shocking to me because I was a 110% confident that I got at least 50% correct or more. I just wanted to know if this could have been a system or software error or something because I still quiet can't process that I didn't get 50% of the mcqs right even though I was able to calculate and get the correct answers for most of them.

Hi. Sorry to hear that Mubashir. It seems that MCQs were not attempted 50% correct that's why you cannot proceed to section 2.

Donot lose hope and try your best next time. Try HOCK materials next time. They are challenging but will really helps you. They are also economical. Your base is already created as you studied before. Now you need a grip on topics which you can get by attempting HOCK questions.

    All the best.

    Hi to All,

I also attampted the CMA Part1 exams and I did not get at least the 50% percent in  the MCQs, in order to attemp the essay questions. I was really dissapointed because I had been studing rigorously  for the  past 4 motnhs. I also used Gleim  and I noticed that the exams MCQs were different from Gleim. I am thinking to resit in September for Part 1, and I am planning to use a different  paltform (maybe Uworld) as a study and practising material.  Which one would you suggest?

    Kind regards,

    George Emmanouilidis,

I also attempted CMA part 01 using Hock international , and MCQs were the same as study material. I could not study very well as I switched my job and only sunday is off. But i tried my level best and in the exam i was able to score atleast 50% correct and attempted the essay section as well.

I have already passed CMA part 02 using Gleim. During exam of part 02 , questions were too difficult for me as compared to study material and but alhumdulillah i was able to pass the exam. That is why i chose Hock instead of Gleim.

    Mubashir,

I recommend switching to HOCK MCQ Access  for your CMA exam preparation. Make sure to practice thoroughly until your performance on HOCK questions exceeds 90%.

Don't give up; you're on the right track. Keep working hard, and you'll achieve success.

     Good luck!

I will also support the use of Hock study materials.  I just attempted Part 1 earlier this week, and I felt very confident about the MCQ (scored at least 50%) and also the essay sections.  I haven't tried any other materials other than Hock, but I can attest that the topics and practice/mock questions in the study materials were very similar (and more difficult) than in the actual exam.  I started out scoring in the low 60% range, and after 2-3 months of moderate studying was in the 80%+ range.  Good luck next time, keep at it!
