KPMG Trade & Customs will discuss the current state of U.S. trade policy, its impact on global trade and what companies are doing to manage the disruption to global supply chains. The focus of the session will be on supply chain and other core trade strategies used to mitigate the costs incurred on U.S. imports.
Speaker: James Mulvehill – Senior Manager KPMG LLP
James Mulvehill is a trade and customs leader for New England and Upstate New York (NEUNY) in KPMG’s Trade and Customs practice. James has more than 15 years in the trade and customs field and he has gained extensive experience assisting a broad range of clients with customs compliance and opportunity, as well as export controls compliance and management.
James’ import experience includes work with clients in the chemical, textile and apparel, consumer goods, technology, automotive, medical devices, industrial and electronics sectors. On the export side, James’ has worked with clients in the Aerospace and Defense, chemical, medical devices, industrial, electronics, and food and beverage sectors. James is a regular speaker and contributor at trade industry conferences and seminars.
James received a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell and a Juris doctor from the University of San Francisco. He is also a licensed customs broker.
