President's Message

Dear Members,

The trees may be bare now but our Chapter is back in full swing. As autumn settles in and we approach the close of another calendar year, I want to take a moment to reflect on our chapter’s achievements and look ahead to the opportunities that await us.

First, I’d like to thank each of you for your continued engagement and commitment to the Hartford Chapter of IMA. Your participation in our events, discussions, and professional development activities is what makes our chapter thrive. This past month, we saw outstanding turnout at our plant tour, and I’m proud of the collaborative spirit that defines our group. Thanks to member Linda Martin for ‘offering up’ her company for this informative tour. I enjoyed meeting a few student attendees as well.

November is a time for gratitude, and I am especially grateful for the dedication of our volunteers and
board members. Their hard work behind the scenes ensures that our chapter remains a valuable
resource for all members. I also applaud the many professionals in our community that are willing to
give their time and share their knowledge with our group to help us in our mission to develop and
educate our members. We should all recognize and be grateful for these generous professionals.

Looking ahead, we have several exciting events planned, including:
 * Nov 13-15, IMA Student Leadership Conference – Hilton Downtown, Cleveland, OH
 * Nov 18, Cybersecurity – Resilience & Compliance – Elizabeth’s, Rocky Hill
 * Dec 16, Connecting the Dots: True Networking – Indian Hill Country Club, Newington
 * Jan 20, One Big Beautiful Bill: Unpacking the Latest Congressional Tax Reform, Virtual

I encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities to expand your knowledge, connect with
peers, and strengthen our professional community.

If you are interested in getting more involved with the CHAPTER or with IMA NERC, please reach
out—we welcome new ideas and energy! And we can find roles, both big and small, to suit your
personal passions. Email me directly or email Hartford@IMAChapter.org

As always, I welcome your feedback and suggestions. Please feel free to contact me directly with any
thoughts on how we can continue to serve you better. Wishing you and your families a wonderful Thanksgiving season!

Warm regards,
